The Financial Management Office promotes excellence in the effective and efficient use of resources by providing leadership to the budgetary process, accounting support for all funds and delivering accurate and timely financial reports and analysis.
Financial Management responsibilities include:
Provide support and guidance for managing all funds (Revenue Offset, DIFR, IFR, SUTRA, and Foundation accounts)
Develop and maintain fees in accordance with campus and SUNY guidelines
Maintain Chart of Accounts
Prepare financial reports and statements
Process budget, expenditure (intra and inter-agency), and revenue transfers
Reconciliations of SUNY and Foundation general ledgers
Prepare quarterly and annual SUNY financial submissions
Security administration for various systems
SUNY Business Intelligence training for campus users
Foundation cash management
Oversight of Accounts Payable and Travel Services
